About This Spot
Seventh Street Market carries the welcoming rhythm of a cherished neighborhood seafood spot where familiarity meets the simple joy of fresh flavors. Nestled on 7th Street in Victorville, this modest market hums with the steady, unpretentious beat of a family-run place that’s found its sweet spot between casual comfort and genuine care.
Walking through the door, you step into a space that feels warm and unhurried. The modest bustle of a small staff moving deliberately, yet kindly, sets a tempo that invites patience—an honest reminder that good things often arrive with a bit of wait. It’s clear this is a place where the personal touch shapes the experience, from the friendly greetings to the attentive service that feels more like a neighborly favor than a routine transaction.
The atmosphere is grounded in community and tradition, with the subtle aroma of seasoned seafood and crispy bites filling the air. Whether it’s a quick stop to savor a freshly prepared meal or a thoughtful selection from the market’s offerings, there’s an ease here that encourages you to pause and appreciate the small, satisfying details—the delicate balance of seasoning, the crunch that accompanies every hand-battered bite, the hints of care sprinkled throughout each dish.
While the pace might occasionally slow during busier moments, it’s part of the experience, a gentle nudge to appreciate the authenticity and craft behind each order. Seventh Street Market is one of those places where service and flavor intertwine—not in haste or flash, but through a subtle devotion to doing seafood well, with graceful humility and warmth.

I have been coming here for some time now and felt a little disappointed this time I ordered the tacos and it seemed like they had a shortage of meat it's a great place with great service but they didn't quite make a 6 on the food serving I will still continue to go there hoping that they can do better

Today was my first time trying this local fish market ... Let me tell you ... It was pretty delicious. The breading on the shrimp was not overly seasoned and was crispy. The hush puppies were also really good! The only down side would be the wait time. It is a small family owned business with not many staff so the wait time is a bit long... But Totally worth it. The owners are so awesome and kind! 10/10 recommend. Also.... The store it self is very Clean which is a HUGE PLUS ! I'll be back

January 2023: The first time I eat at Valley Fish market was in November 2022. I was not able to give it a full review because I had not eaten there before. I went back in December and again in January 2023 and the fish is really good. I like the fact that the owner is Korean American, but her employees are African American blending racial harmony together. The tall nice looking brown skin African woman is always pleasant to look at and she is kind to all customers. The African American man who takes orders also does a good job. The fish has always been good. My only complaint is that everyone has to get the food to go, so by the time a person gets home, the food may be cold and reheating is not the same taste.
